Fillmore Riley raises over $66,000 for CancerCare Manitoba
Overview
Fillmore Riley's Motion to Strike Cancer team exceeded our fundraising goal of $50,000, raising $66,869 through our participation in CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 19th annual Challenge for Life.
Each team member committed to raising a minimum of $250 and completing a 20-kilometre walk on June 13, 2026.
Stuart Blake, CEO and Managing Partner of Fillmore Riley, singlehandedly raised $28,120 in 2026.
Since the event's inception, Fillmore Riley has contributed over $850,000 through sponsorship and participation in Challenge for Life. The money raised at the flagship event stays in Manitoba and supports CancerCare Manitoba programs and initiatives, including research, cancer prevention and early detection, clinical trials and support services.
This year's event was an unprecedented success, raising over $3 million.
