Biography

Maria is an articling student-at-law with an expected Call to Bar of June 2026. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2025.

Maria was actively involved in the Robson Hall community. She served as Council Chair for the MLSA in third year, Vice President of the Feminist Legal Forum and Co-chair of the Community Outreach Committee. She also volunteered through Pro Bono Students Canada at the Trans ID Clinic and with Welcome Place to help refugees complete forms.

Maria won numerous course awards at Robson Hall, including for highest standing in Advocacy, Animals and the Law and Advanced Legal Research. She won first place at the Art Braid Business Law Case Competition and won the Solomon Greenberg Moot, an intramural oral advocacy competition at Robson Hall. Maria was also a Macintyre Cup Finalist and competed in the Sopinka Cup.

Maria is fluent in English and Spanish.
