      Responsibilities

      • Pickup and delivery of a wide variety of items
      • Delivering internal mail
      • Filing documents and performing searches at Court of King’s Bench, The Property Registry and Companies Office
      • Present a polite and professional image of the firm
      • Provide a high level of customer service for our clients
      • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • File Clerk

    • Fillmore Riley LLP is a highly regarded and accomplished full-service law firm located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. We have a term position opening for a File Clerk to maintain accurate and well-organized physical and digital files.

      Responsibilities

      • Receive, sort, and organize incoming physical files
      • Assist in creating and maintaining file indexes and tracking systems to facilitate efficient file retrieval
      • Scan incoming physical documents into the firm’s digital document management system
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the firm’s database
      • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring the information is accurately entered and maintained in the firm’s systems
      • Coordinate the archiving and retrieval of closed or inactive files
      • Prepare files for offsite storage, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of file locations

  • Corporate Applications Trainer

    • Fillmore Riley LLP is a highly regarded and accomplished full-service law firm located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. We have an immediate opening for a Corporate Applications Trainer.

      The incumbent will design, plan, and develop engaging and relevant virtual and in-person training programs that empower team members to work effectively and efficiently in their respective roles. The Corporate Applications Trainer will also continually monitor and identify training needs in the firm and address any knowledge gaps.

      Responsibilities 

      • As part of the firm’s comprehensive onboarding program, provide new team members with training in the firm’s systems and software platforms, providing ongoing support throughout the learning curve.
      • Review existing training programs and recommend enhancements and modifications to improve engagement and learning outcomes.
      • In conjunction with HR and practice group leaders, conduct business, performance and technical skills gap analyses. Design and implement training programs to overcome knowledge gaps and empower team members to meet department and practice group needs.
      • Design and develop instructional material, course curriculums and reference materials for classroom, online, video and eLeaning training.
      • Evaluate software, learning systems and related educational technologies to further enhance the learning environment of the firm.
      • Deliver one-on-one software training and create custom training materials.
      • Provide application support and technical assistance as requested by the technology team’s Help Desk.
      • Participate in testing of new software applications or upgrades.

      Skills and Experience 

      • Minimum of 5 years of training and development experience in a Microsoft environment with strong skills in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365
      • Ability to learn quickly and retain complex information
      • Possess strong technical and organizational skills
      • Experience in iManage Document management system is an asset
      • Excellent people and communications skills
      • Candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently in setting agendas, schedules and deadlines

      The successful applicant must be highly organized, self-motivated, and have the ability to work in a team environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and a minimum of 2 years of legal experience are required. Corporate experience is an asset.
