Biography
Avril is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group. She assists on a wide range of matters, including insurance, regulatory and commercial litigation.
Avril received her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2024 and was named to the Dean’s List for ranking in the top 10 of her class in her first and second years.
During law school, Avril completed a student clerkship with the Court of Appeal, where she honed her research skills and gained a comprehensive understanding of the judicial system. She also served as a law student extern at the Legal Help Centre and won the Jo-Anne M. Findlay Memorial Award for her volunteerism.
Before law school, Avril studied Political Studies at the University of Manitoba. Her undergraduate work focused Canadian government, including the federal and provincial legislative processes.
