Fillmore Riley’s litigators recognized by Benchmark Canada 2019
Overview
Benchmark Canada has again identified Fillmore Riley as one of the most “highly recommended” litigation firms in Manitoba. Benchmark Canada is a guide to Canada’s leading litigation firms and lawyers. The guide results are the culmination of a four-month research period that allows researchers to conduct extensive interviews with litigators and their clients.
Peers described Fillmore Riley’s key litigators “as being some of the best in the province.” One peer said that the firm has “the largest insurance department between Ontario and Calgary.”

They are considered by the insurance industry as the top firm for this type of litigation matter,” a client said during a Benchmark Canada interview. Peers interviewed noted that "Fillmore Riley is not just known for insurance. They have a broader repertoire.”
During the research process, Benchmark Canada examines recent cases handled by the firms and asks clients and other sources to offer their professional opinions on litigators practising within their province or practice area(s) across the country.
