David is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice.
To complement his general civil litigation work, David is developing a focus in the field of public law. He works in legal teams advising municipalities, school districts, public authorities, regulated professionals, advocacy and community groups and enterprise on a broad range of regulatory and administrative law issues. He is passionate about helping clients understand their rights and options when it comes to trusts, estates and power of attorney situations.
Not only does David plan to grow his practice in this sector, he hopes to expand his practice in immigration law, helping newcomers sponsors and others in a variety of challenges they may face. As part of his involvement in Law School, he was the Co-Chair of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, Robson Hall Chapter. He worked with Pro Bono Students Canada, drafting a training manual and country conditions for a refugee resettlement agency, Welcome Place. He also volunteered here assisting refugee claimants.
