Alex is an associate in the firm’s business law and estate practices.

Alex joined the firm in 2022 and has since built a reputation for her strong work ethic, practical insight, and attention to detail. She is committed to providing clear, solutions-oriented advice and enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their legal and business goals.

She works closely with the commercial team on a broad range of transactional and corporate matters, including the purchase and sale of businesses by way of asset or share transactions. Her general corporate practice includes assisting clients with routine corporate matters such as incorporations, amalgamations, corporate name changes, continuances, dissolutions, minute book reviews, and corporate clean-up.

Alex regularly supports the firm’s tax department on corporate reorganizations and related restructuring matters, including implementing estate freezes, rollovers, and other tax-driven transactions. She plays a key role in preparing supporting documentation and ensuring that corporate structures are properly maintained throughout these processes.

In addition to her business law practice, Alex is an active member of the firm’s estate practice. She advises clients on a range of estate planning and estate administration matters, including the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and health care directives, as well as guiding executors and beneficiaries through the probate process. She is particularly mindful of the sensitive and personal nature of estate work and takes a thoughtful, client-centred approach to helping families navigate complex and often challenging matters.
