Biography

Alexandra is an articling student-at-law. Her anticipated Call to the Manitoba Bar is in June 2023.

She assists lawyers on a range of civil litigation and corporate law matters. Alex comes to the firm after spending the last two years of her career as a legal researcher for the Manitoba Securities Commission. She is a strong researcher and has provided research assistance on a number of securities and real estate matters.

Alexandra won course awards for highest standing in Administrative Law (2021) and Passeport du Droit (2022). In 2021, Alexandra was a student Law Clerk for the Manitoba Provincial Court and worked as a student Case Manager at the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic. She also participated in several oral advocacy competitions including the Laskin Administrative/Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition, Robson Hall Negotiation Competition, Canadian National Negotiation Competition, and the DAVIES Corporate/Securities Law Moot. While in law school, Alexandra took science classes in addition to the full-time law course load, resulting in her graduating with two degrees at the same time.
