Fillmore Riley raises $44,859 for CancerCare Manitoba

Fillmore Riley's team, "Motion to Strike Cancer," exceeded our goal of $30,000, raising $44,859 for CancerCare Manitoba through our participation in Challenge for Life. Fillmore Riley is also a long-time sponsor of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's flagship event.

Each Motion to Strike Cancer member achieved an individual milestone of 20 kilometres or 200 minutes of exercise and raised a minimum of $250. Stuart Blake, a partner of Fillmore Riley and a member of the Board of Directors at CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, singlehandedly raised $15,525.

"Our team is grateful for the support we received from our colleagues, friends and family," said Stuart, the team captain of Motion to Strike Cancer. "I am proud of our team, and I thank each team member for making a difference in the lives of Manitobans affected by cancer."

CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 14th-annual Challenge for Life raised a total of $1,010,677. Since 2008, Challengers have raised more than $14 million for local leading-edge cancer research, clinical trials and patient care.
