Fillmore Riley lawyers share insights at the 2026 Prairie Provinces Tax Conference

Johanna Caithness, Aron Grusko, Ari Hanson and Matthew London presented at the Canadian Tax Foundation 2026 Prairie Provinces Tax Conference. Nick Noonan served as a moderator.

The conference is a leading professional event for CPAs and lawyers, focusing on tax, accounting and emerging trends.

Johanna presented on "Income Tax and GST Considerations for Multi-Professional Medical Clinics," focusing on the unique income and excise tax implications of establishing and managing medical practices.

Aron co-presented on "Tax & Estate Planning for Business Owners," focusing on how tax and estate planning files evolve, and how experienced advisors assess situations, test assumptions, and integrate moving pieces into a coherent plan. Nick moderated the session.  

Ari and Matthew co-presented on "Managing Tax Errors - Prevention, Remedial Tools, and Best Practices," providing practical guidance to tax practitioners navigating an increasingly complex tax landscape.
