Biography

Fred's practice focuses on labour and employment law. He provides advice and assistance regarding collective bargaining, arbitrations and adjudications, employment contracts, certifications, unfair labour practices, discipline, terminations and accommodations.

Fred has appeared before all levels of Manitoba Courts, the Federal Court of Canada, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. He also routinely appears before arbitration and adjudication panels, the Manitoba Labour Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, and the Manitoba Human Rights Commission.

In the legal community, Fred is an annual presenter at both the Manitoba Labour Law Review Conference and the Manitoba Accommodation Law Conference. He also serves as a volunteer appeals officer under The Youth Drug Stabilization Act and dedicates his time to a number of community and legal organizations.
