The Sea Bears are the newest member of the 10-team Canadian Elite Basketball League, and played their first game on May 27, 2023 in front of a sold-out home crowd at the Canada Life Centre.

The exuberant fan support is an indication of the Sea Bears’ organizational excellence and of the dedication of Winnipeg’s burgeoning basketball community.
