Summer Students

Summering at Fillmore Riley

Your future is our future.

At Fillmore Riley, we know that the strength of our firm comes from attracting and keeping talented lawyers. We hire students with a view to retaining them long-term and to develop their practice with us.  When we invest in your future, we invest in our own.

As a student, you will be engaged in different practice areas, be exposed to the operation of the firm as a whole, and work with partners, counsel and associates who are committed to your success.  We have even developed our own “Gatekeeper System” that gives our students a consistent, well-balanced, and manageable workflow. Read more about it at

Salary & benefits for summer students.
Our summer students receive compensation that is commensurate with other large law firms in Manitoba.
