Sarah practises exclusively in the area of family law, advising clients on all aspects of family legal matters.

Her practice includes separation and divorce, parenting issues, adoption, guardianship, grandparent and third party access, child and spousal support and family property issues. She helps navigate the family restructuring process with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, resolving matters respectfully and keeping conflict to a minimum.

Sarah is an experienced litigator, but she prefers to assist clients to settle their matters outside of court whenever possible, through negotiation and/or the use of other alternative dispute resolution processes. She is a member of Collaborative Practice Manitoba and has received advanced training in family mediation through the Family Arbitration Mediation Legal Institute Manitoba (FAMLI).

Sarah’s work reflects her professional values. She is committed to providing top-quality support, education, advice and advocacy that her clients can depend on. She is committed to open communication and trusting relationships with her clients from start to finish.

Sarah is the president and a board member of the Community Legal Education Association, a charitable organization that provides legal information to Manitobans. She also acts as a Lawyer Supervisor for Pro Bono Students Canada as well as a volunteer Lawyer for the Legal Help Centre of Winnipeg Inc.
