Biography
Samantha is an associate in the firm’s business law practice. She assists the commercial team in a variety of matters, including real estate transactions, corporate governance issues and share acquisition and sales.
Samantha earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2023, where she was the recipient of the University Gold Medal for highest standing in the faculty of Law. While in law school, she also earned the Dr. A.W. Hogg Undergraduate Scholarship and Lieutenant M.M. Soronow Scholarship for highest standing in first-year law and the Dr. Margaret Hypatia Crawford Prize for highest standing in third-year law. She won course awards for the highest standing in Constitutional Law, Contracts, Evidence, Family Law, Francais Juridique, Civil Procedure, and Tax Law. She also won the Earl Parker Prize for Business Law.
Samantha participated in the Access to Justice in French Program and was a French oralist in the Laskin Moot Court Competition. She was also a student Case Manager at the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic, and a participant in the Canadian National Negotiation Competition (placing third overall).
