Biography

Marcelin leads Fillmore Riley’s family law practice.

She works with clients on an array of family and domestic law legal issues, including prenuptial matters, separation and divorce, custody and childcare matters, child and spousal support and family property accountings and division. Marcelin’s clients are individuals at every stage of a transitioning family situation.

Marcelin has experience with collaborative legal practice, and is qualified to work with clients in this manner to assist clients with a  negotiated settlement. She is also trained and qualified as a mediator and arbitrator.

Marcelin has acted as an instructor in family law matters for the Law Society of Manitoba and she has served on the boards of Collaborative Practice Manitoba and the Family Arbitration/Mediation Legal Institute. She also acts as Vice Chair of the Family Law subsection of the Manitoba Bar Association.
