Biography
Dominique is an associate in the firm’s litigation group. He assists on a range of matters, including general litigation, as well as a focus on employment and labour law.
Dominique earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2024. He was the recipient of multiple awards, including the Margaret Hypatia Crawford Prize for highest standing in third-year law and the Class of 1980 Prize for outstanding involvement in extracurricular activities. He also won course awards for highest standing in Advanced Legal Research, Negotiations, and Constitutional Law, and further awards in Advocacy and Legal Methods.
During law school, Dominique assumed multiple leadership roles with the Manitoba Indigenous Law Students Association and also served as the Co-Chair of the Community Outreach Committee for the Manitoba Law Students Association.
Dominique participated in the Access to Justice in French Program and was an oralist in the Bastarache Moot in 2023, placing second overall. He also served as Senior Editor for the Canadian Journal of Human Rights.
