Biography
Danielle Grzybowski is a lawyer and registered trademark agent whose practice focuses on business law, with an emphasis on intellectual property, technology, and franchise law.
Danielle regularly advises clients on trademark strategy, clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, copyright, licensing, commercialization, intellectual property ownership, and due diligence. She also represents both owners and users of intellectual property in negotiating and drafting technology, software, SaaS, licensing, development, commercialization, and other commercial agreements, as well as intellectual property provisions in mergers, acquisitions, sales transactions, and other corporate transactions. Her practice also includes advising on legal issues relating to artificial intelligence, privacy, and emerging technologies.
In addition to her intellectual property practice, Danielle advises clients on a broad range of commercial matters, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and asset transactions. She is a frequent presenter on intellectual property, franchise law, artificial intelligence, and other legal topics affecting businesses.
A graduate of the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa, Danielle practises in both English and French.Education
