Fillmore Riley LLP will relocate to One Lombard Place in July 2026

Fillmore Riley LLP has chosen to relocate its office to the Richardson Building as part of its longstanding commitment to downtown Winnipeg and the organizations shaping the city’s economic future.

The move places the firm within a corridor of sustained investment led by the Richardson family, including the multimillion-dollar revitalization of the Fairmont Winnipeg, the Richardson Innovation Centre, and the proposed Global Agriculture Technology Exchange. The Global Agriculture Technology Exchange will be an agricultural hub and the future home of Cereals Canada.

Since 1883, our lawyers have been entrusted with some of the most complex and sophisticated transactions and litigation involving Canada’s most prominent companies, institutions and individuals.

Clients rely on our proficiency in banking and finance, securities, taxation, real estate, property development and litigation. We advise a wide range of public and private sector clients, including large and small corporations, financial institutions, major national insurers, municipalities and professional organizations and associations on their mission-critical business transactions and commercial litigation. Fillmore Riley also advises individuals on their wills, trusts and estates, tax, family law and civil litigation matters.

Our decision to remain at Portage and Main reflects a belief that strong institutions belong at the centre of civic and commercial life — visible, accessible and invested for the long term.

Together, these developments signal confidence in downtown as a place for business, innovation and institutional leadership.

The Richardson Building has long stood as a symbol of stability and enterprise in Winnipeg. As we enter our next chapter, our new space will support collaboration, modern client service, and the evolving ways professionals work, while keeping us firmly rooted in the heart of the city.

This relocation is not simply a change of address. It is a statement of confidence in downtown Winnipeg and in the role that anchor institutions play in sustaining vibrant, resilient business communities.

Fillmore Riley looks forward to welcoming clients and colleagues to our new office in July 2026.
