Biography

Meghan is an associate practising in the litigation, labour and employment and Indigenous groups.

Her litigation practice sees Meghan acting for insured parties of all sizes and in a broad array of industries, primarily in the defence of tort claims. Additionally, she has a focus on labour and employment law, working with clients in respect of drafting employment contracts, policies and standards, employee termination and the interpretation of collective agreements. She has appeared before courts and tribunals in Manitoba and Ontario.

Prior to joining Fillmore Riley in 2021, Meghan practised in Northern Ontario. Meghan has experience working with First Nations authorities on a variety of regulatory and contentious matters. She worked with Pro Bono Students Canada assisting with the Manitoba Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Inquiry through research.
