Ari Hanson receives the Max Nathanson Young Leadership Award for 2022

The Jewish Federation of Winnipeg selected Ari Hanson as the 2022 recipient of the Max Nathanson Young Leadership Award. The award recognizes Ari’s longtime volunteer commitment and leadership.

This award is presented to an individual volunteer who demonstrates outstanding service and leadership in support of the activities of the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg. Max Nathanson’s commitment to education and philanthropic contributions made him an inspirational figure in the Winnipeg Jewish Community. This award is dedicated to him to ensure his legacy continues. To be considered for this award you must have a demonstrated record of successes in a leadership capacity as well as an ability to inspire and motivate your peers.

Ari began volunteering with the Jewish Child and Family Service (JCFS) when he was 17 years old. In 2020, he became the youngest president of JCFS in its history. His passion for volunteering and giving back is a large component to who he is as an individual and he hopes to continue his work for many years to come.  

Ari practises law at Fillmore Riley in our litigation and tax groups. His practice focuses primarily on tax disputes, commercial litigation and real estate litigation.
