Fillmore Riley lawyers volunteer to present at Will Week 2019

Six lawyers and two articling students from Fillmore Riley have volunteered to deliver presentations during Will Week 2019. Taking place from April 22 to 27, 2019, the sessions are free basic estate planning/information seminars led by local lawyers.

The Winnipeg Foundation, The Manitoba Bar Association, and the Public Trustee of Manitoba have partnered to find lawyers to donate their time and knowledge to present these sessions to the public that will address:

  • Why you need a valid, updated Will, an enduring Power of Attorney, and a Health Care Directive
  • How to ensure your last wishes are achievable
  • How to support the community with a charitable gift in your Will
