Fillmore Riley recognized in Chambers Canada 2019 as leading firm

Fillmore Riley LLP received recognition in the areas of Agribusiness: Agriculture and Food Products—Nationwide Canada and in General Business Law—Manitoba in the recently released Chambers Canada 2019.

Chambers Canada covers lawyers and law firms practising in all provinces and territories in Canada. Chambers Guides are the culmination of thousands of in-depth interviews by the largest research team of its kind trusted globally to objectively rank the world’s best lawyers and law firms.

In the area of Agribusiness: Agriculture and Food Products—Nationwide Canada, Chambers noted that Fillmore Riley is “universally acknowledged as a regional powerhouse for its impressive depth of expertise in agribusiness.” In particular, the firm is recognized for “work on behalf of grain handlers and processors” and “the group also represents a wide range of other industry players including farmers, equipment manufacturers and agricultural trade associations.”

Market sources recognize Jody Langhan as a "very strong, capable and smart" lawyer who practises in commercial agribusiness law and Chambers identifies him as one of the notable practitioners in Canada. Interviewees acknowledged Jody’s "significant work" on behalf of clients in the grain industry.
