Fillmore Riley welcomes three new partners.

The partners of Fillmore Riley LLP congratulate Doug E. Fawcett, Andrew P. Loewen and Sven T. Hombach on their admission to partnership effective January 1, 2014.

Doug practises mainly in the areas of corporate, commercial, banking and financial services law. After earning his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba, Doug received his call to the Alberta Bar in 2008 and practised law in Calgary at a national firm. Doug joined Fillmore Riley in 2009 and was called to the Manitoba Bar the same year.

Andrew practises civil litigation primarily in the areas of insurance, construction, insolvency, as well as general civil litigation. After earning his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in 2005, he articled at Fillmore Riley before receiving his call to the Manitoba Bar in 2006, and continued on as an associate.

Sven practises regulatory & administrative law, civil litigation, environmental law and municipal law, with experience in energy and utility matters. Prior to obtaining his J.D. from the University of Toronto, Sven obtained a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in civil and environmental engineering. He practised in Toronto for several years before joining Fillmore Riley in 2010 and being called to the Manitoba Bar the same year.
