David Kroft takes to the stage in support of MTC.
MTC has sent Winnipeg lawyers back to law school.
It is a tradition for members of the Manitoba Bar Association to take to the stage for the Lawyers Play—an annual gala fundraiser in support of MTC. This year, 27 local lawyers have hit the books and perfected their “bend and snap” for LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL.
Sorority star Elle Woods doesn't take "no" for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious," Elle puts down the credit card and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law School. On her journey, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.
David Kroft, a partner with Fillmore Riley, plays Aaron Schultz and Nikos. “It is extremely satisfying to contribute to securing MTC’s future. MTC is a cornerstone of Winnipeg’s rich cultural life and I am proud to support it,” he said.
Legally Blonde is David’s fourth Lawyers Play. He has previously played Mendel in Fiddler on the Roof, Sonny in Grease and LA in Gypsy.
Legally Blonde: The Musical runs from April 23-27. 2013, at MTC’s Tom Hendry Warehouse.
