Fillmore Riley's David Kroft declared a Life Bencher.

On May 20, 2010, David Kroft was declared a Life Bencher of The Law Society of Manitoba, recognizing his eight years of service as an elected bencher.

The Law Society is the body created by statute to regulate the legal profession in Manitoba with the primary purpose of protecting the public. David was first elected in 2002 and has been a chair or a vice chair of almost every major Law Society Committee.

Most recently, David co-chaired a special president's committee on governance. In addition to his commitment to the Law Society, David is a life council member of the Manitoba Bar Association and serves on numerous community and national boards including The Law Foundation, Jewish Federation of Winnipeg and Canada Israel committee.
