Fillmore Riley welcomes three new partners

The partners of Fillmore Riley LLP congratulate Wes J. Burrows, Marni L. Karpiak and Sofia Mirza on their admission to partnership effective January 1, 2012.
“These three lawyers have been exemplary in their respective practice areas and they are tremendous assets to our firm,” said Fillmore Riley’s managing partner Glen Peters. “We are extremely pleased to welcome Wes, Marni and Sofia into partnership.”
Wes received his call to the Manitoba Bar in 2005 and joined Fillmore Riley as an associate the same year. He practises primarily in the areas of corporate, commercial, and securities law.
Marni practises in the area of family law. She was admitted to the Manitoba Bar in 2003 and joined Fillmore Riley in 2004.
Sofia practises primarily in the area of business/personal immigration law and community-centre civil litigation. After receiving her call to the Manitoba Bar in 2004, Sofia joined Fillmore Riley and built the firm’s immigration practice.
