Areas of Focus

Dean is a partner with Fillmore Riley LLP who practises primarily in the areas of general civil and commercial litigation and insurance law, covering such areas as general insurance defence matters, commercial liability insurance, professional errors and omissions, subrogation and policy interpretation. He also practises in the area of intellectual property litigation, including patent, copyright, and trade-mark disputes. Dean has appeared before all levels of Manitoba courts, the Federal Court of Canada, and various administrative boards and tribunals. He frequently represents clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
