- Purchase, sales, and mergers of small to large businesses including share purchase and asset purchase transactions
- Advice to companies on their obligations under the Investment Canada Act and the Competition Act, in particular with respect to purchase, sales, and merger transactions, as well as with respect to promotional contests and lotteries
- Acted for companies in the mining and natural resources industry dealing with various mining law matters as well as the sale and purchase of mining assets
- Prospectus offerings of debt and equity securities
- Reverse takeover of publicly traded corporations
- Private placements (brokered and non-brokered) of various types of securities, including tax incentive offerings such as the Manitoba Community Enterprise Investment Tax Credit
- Financings for small to large businesses
- Provide advice on general corporate and business law matters including day to day compliance with corporate and securities legislation for businesses and for brokers and financial advisors
- Advice to businesses with respect to security agreements as well as registering security against financial instruments as provided in The Securities Transfer Act
